Ingredients:

  • 1 cup white sugar
  • ½ cup butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ¾ teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ cup milk

Directions

STEP 1 – Preheat your oven to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.

STEP 2 – Take a 9 x 9 inch pan and grease and flour it well.

STEP 3 – Mix sugar and butter together well enough in a bowl.

STEP 4 – Add one egg at a time and beat it with the mixture of sugar and butter, then stir in vanilla.

STEP 5 – Mix baking powder and flour in a bowl and then add to the mixture and mix it well.

STEP 6 – Stir in the milk slowly until you get a smooth and lump-free batter.

STEP 7 – Empty the prepared batter from the bowl to the prepared cake pan.

STEP 8 – Bake in a preheated oven for 30 to 40 minutes and wrap with white cream after cool. Decorate the cake with sprinkles, and the cake for the Bhai Dooj celebration is ready!

Ingredients:

  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup boiling water

Directions

STEP 1 – Preheat your oven to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.

STEP 2 – Take two 9-inch cake pans. Butter and flour them well and line the bottoms with parchment paper.

STEP 3 – Sift cocoa powder, flour, and sugar in a bowl. Whisk together well enough after adding salt, baking soda, and baking powder.

STEP 4 – Mix milk, vanilla, oil, and eggs in a bowl until well combined. Stir in boiling water.

STEP 5 – Add the mixture of Step 4 to the mixture of step 3 and stir until combined.

STEP 6 – Pour the mixture equally into cake pans and bake for 30 minutes.

STEP 7 – Let the baked batters cool completely. Frost the cake with chocolate frosting.

STEP 8 – Write ‘Happy Bhai Dooj’ on top using white whipped cream.
